“Bardo” is a Tibetan word meaning “in between” and is a teaching that Buddhists should understand well. Lama Lodu Rinpoche received the empowerment and transmission directly from the previous Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche, His Holiness Palden Rangjung Kunkyab. Some of the subjects can be taught briefly in an hour and others cannot be finished even with several hours. If you really understand Buddhism thoroughly, it is important to understand and familiarize yourself with this situation before it really happens to you. This teaching will help you to easily recognize the Bardo state when it occurs and help you to avoid unnecessary pain and confusion. This is the essence of the Vajrayana teachings that can really help you when the time comes.
